Penguin House Radio records public service videos for recent immigrants to the United States. Most of these subscribers are elderly parents of U.S. citizens from Indo-Pak region, who struggle to pass U.S. citizenship test in English. These educational videos parse this test in their native language. As of June, 135 people have taken advantage of this service with over 38,000 views.
In December 2016, I brokered a partnership between Department of Homeland Security and Paterson Public Schools to recycle hundreds of discarded computers and update them for student use in urban schools of Paterson. Through this program, hundreds of computers that were slated for landfills are now being used by deserving inner city schools.
K-12techdirectors.org is an online community for K-12 Technology Directors, Technology Chiefs, and Tech Coordinators. This service organization is intended to evolve into a reservoir of knowledge and expertise for Tech leaders in meeting their day-to-day challenges of technology implementation in their school districts. This online community of practitioners is also linked to Facebook and LinkedIn.
